Our PA28-161, G-RSKR is fully IFR equipped. The avionics include the Garmin GNS430W GPS with 106A indicator,Garmin GTX330 Mode S Transponder, Garmin SL30 Com/Nav2 with 106A indicator. Also fitted are KN87 ADF and KN64 DME equipment along with an FS-450 Fuelscan System. If required we can hire out a NATS / Airbox "AWARE" GPS system for avoiding controlled airspace, this is of benefit to pilots who travel further afield. G-RSKR has also had an STC allowing a MTOW of 1107KG.
Following a checkout with an Instructor, the aircraft can be hired to Pilots holding a PPL licence that is current for the rating and have suitable flying hours and a valid JAA medical.
We rent the aircraft out on a Wet basis and Aberdeen landing fees are added, we use a spreadsheet for calculating costs based on latest Avgas / landing fee costs. |
